fair-finance Vorsorgekasse: BONUS takes over the fair-finance pension fund

BONUS Vorsorgekasse is thus further expanding its position as a leading provider of occupational pension plans.

BONUS Pensionskassen Aktiengesellschaft acquired all shares in the fair-finance pension fund from the Sinnova Group on June 12, 2025. This means that fair-finance customers, with over 476,000 beneficiaries and assets totaling more than €1.2 billion, will be served by BONUS Pensionskasse in the future. All fair-finance employees will be retained.

“We are pleased about this strategically important step and welcome all fair-finance employees and customers to BONUS. In the future, we will reinvest the funds of approximately two million beneficiaries securely and transparently within the framework of our statutory severance payment mandate,” explains Georg Daurer, CEO of BONUS Pensionskassen AG.

“For the time being, fair-finance will remain a separate company,” says CEO Michael Scherhammer. “Our goal is to fully integrate fair-finance in the fall and then operate it under the BONUS brand. There will be no changes to the contracts and terms and conditions; we will provide information about new contact persons immediately. We look forward to personal discussions with our new customers.”

The BONUS Vorsorgekasse is part of the BONUS Group, a specialist in occupational pension provision, and employs around 110 people. Generali Versicherung AG and Zürich Versicherungs-Aktiengesellschaft each own 50 percent of BONUS. In 2015, BONUS acquired and successfully integrated the VICTORIA-VOLKSBANKEN Pensionskasse and Vorsorgekasse.
