The APK Delegates’ Assembly and the Aargau Government Council have elected the Board of Directors for the 2025 to 2029 term. Tatiana Berchtold, Nicole Ceraolo, and Beat Gräub are new members of the Board.
The Board of Directors of the Aargau Pension Fund was elected for the term from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2029. The Board is composed of equal numbers of employer and employee representatives. On the employer side, the Aargau State Council confirmed the re-election of all existing Board members on May 28, 2025:
- Marlene Arnold, Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRO) at Coop Rechtsschutz AG
- Thomas Bumbacher, Head of Finance, City of Baden
- Melanie Hächler, Head of HR Strategy and Business, Canton of Aargau
- Markus Leuthard, CIO Vita Collective Foundation
- Alexander Mihajlovic, Global Head of Executive Compensation at GE Vernova
In contrast, three board members resigned from the employee representation. Manfred Dubach and Ernst Keller are leaving the APK board due to retirement. Franziska Schneeberger is leaving her employer. For this reason, the APK delegate assembly had to elect three new seats. Jan Schneider and the incumbent board president, Liselotte Siegrist, stood for re-election. On June 11, 2025, the delegate assembly elected the following board members for the employee representation:
- Tatiana Berchtold, Head of Investment Management for Cantonal Hospitals at the Canton of Aargau (DGS)
- Nicole Ceraolo, Head of Finance and Controlling at the Canton of Aargau (BKS)
- Beat Gräub, Deputy Managing Director of Education Aarau and lecturer for economics and law at the Centre for Education
- Jan Schneider, Regional Manager Aargauische Kantonalbank
- Liselotte Siegrist, Head of Auditing KESB at the District Courts of Bremgarten and Muri
The Delegates’ Assembly thus confirmed the two current board members, Jan Schneider and Liselotte Siegrist. With Tatiana Berchtold, Nicole Ceraolo, and Beat Gräub, APK has recruited three new board members who will represent the interests of employees in the future.
With the start of the new term of office on July 1, 2025, the APK Board will be composed of half men and half women.
