Marianne Duss is the first female president in the 60-year history of the LGPK. Ivo Lötscher from Lucerne has submitted his resignation as President and member of the Board of Trustees of the pension fund, effective August 31, 2025, at the end of the 2021-2025 term of office. He has served on the Board of Trustees since 1997 and as President of the Lucerne Municipal Pension Fund since 2016. Ivo Lötscher is passing on his position as President to the current Board member, Marianne Duss from Menznau. With Marianne Duss, a woman is heading the Lucerne Municipal Pension Fund as President for the first time in its 60-year history. Reto Meier Seifert from Gisikon was newly elected to the Board of Trustees as the employer representative.
