Deutsche Telekom is extending its contract with WTW for the administration of its company pension scheme (bAV). The long-term contract covers the administration of the company pension scheme for approximately 85,000 current and 50,000 former employees.
WTW has been managing the Telekom Group’s occupational pension scheme for over 20 years. WTW has taken over the administration of this complex pension landscape in several steps, accompanied by comprehensive analyses of the portfolios with the goal of continuously improving service. This administration encompasses collectively agreed, non-collective, and senior employee groups. In recent years, the entire communications system has been modernized, and self-service has been further expanded through mobile-friendly solutions for employees and the Telekom Group’s HR department.
“I have been supporting Telekom’s company pension plan for many years. With its various pension systems, such as the capital account plan, the German Postal Service Pension Fund (VAP), and the Flexible Benefits solution, it is certainly one of the most complex projects in the German company pension market. We are therefore very pleased that we can continue to support Telekom with our administrative services and expertise,” says Dr. Reiner Schwinger, Head of Central Europe at WTW.
