Industriens Pension voted global investor of the year in infrastructure

Industriens Pension has been named the best global investor in infrastructure via funds in competition with pension companies from all over the world. It happened at the IPE Real Assets & Infrastructure Global Investor Awards 2022 in Munich on Thursday evening.
Industriens Pension has just received a prestigious international award for the company’s investments in infrastructure via funds that currently amounts to DKK 18.1 billion DKK. Behind the award are a number of experts and the organization IPE (Investment & Pensions Europe), which gathers major investors from all over the world every year for the ‘IPE Real Assets & Infrastructure Global Investor Awards’.
“It is really a price that we are happy with, as investments in infrastructure play a very important role in the overall portfolio. Infrastructure has ensured good long-term returns, and our growing investments in energy infrastructure such as wind farms, solar farms and biogas are at the same time absolutely crucial for our contribution to the green transition and energy independence,” says Jan Østergaard, head of Real Assets at Industriens Pension.
