Gunnar Balsvik, former CEO of Kåpan Tjänstepension from 2003 to January 2025, will take over as interim CEO from July 31, 2025 after his successor as CEO Marie Giertz announced during the summer that she was resigning from the position for personal reasons.
As a former CEO, Gunnar Balsvik is very familiar with the assignment and, with his many years of experience from the business, will contribute to stability, continuity and secure leadership, says Ann Follin, Chairwoman of the Board of Kåpan Tjänstepension. Recruitment of a new full CEO has begun.
