The board of directors of LD Fonde has elected deputy chairman of the Danish Trade Union Confederation, Nanna Højlund, as its new chairman.
LD Fonde’s board of directors has a new chairman. Nanna Højlund, who is vice chairman of the Danish Trade Union Confederation, took office as chairman at LD Fonde’s board meeting on August 19, 2025.
Nanna Højlund has been vice-chair of the Danish Trade Union Confederation since 2019 and before that vice-chair of LO. As the new chair, she replaces Morten Skov Christiansen, who has been chair of LD Fonde since May 2023.
LD Fonde’s other board members are vice chairman Ane Arnth Jensen, who is a professional board member, Flemming Grønsund, who is vice chairman of the Danish Trade Union Confederation, Hans Arnum, who is executive vice president of Tryg, Kirsten Smedegaard Andersen, who is a professional board member, Nadja Røhr, who is a financial consultant of the Danish Trade Union Confederation, and Tomas Kepler, who is chairman of Akademikerne.
The composition of the LD Fonde board of directors is stipulated in the Act on the Employees’ Welfare Fund. The board of directors is appointed by the Minister of Employment and consists of 7 members, 4 of whom are appointed on the recommendation of the main organizations for employees, and 3 members are appointed directly by the Minister.
