Franklin Templeton appoints Lee Hollingworth as head of UK retirement

Franklin Templeton is pleased to announce the appointment of Lee Hollingworth as Head of UK Retirement, effective December 1, 2021. Reporting to Martyn Gilbey, UK Country Head, Hollingworth will be responsible for developing and leading Franklin Templeton’s retirement business in the UK market.

Commenting on Hollingworth’s appointment, Martyn Gilbey said: “The retirement market is a core growth area for Franklin Templeton. Lee’s appointment to spearhead our retirement business will play a key part in our strategic growth plans for the UK market.”

In this newly created role, Hollingworth will focus on creating and implementing a new customised proposition for the UK retirement market utilising the breadth and expertise across Franklin Templeton and its specialist investment managers. His key focuses will include proposition design, business development and relationship management.
