Miles Tym appointed fund manager of two M&G bond funds

M&G today announces that Miles Tym has been appointed as fund manager of the £593 million M&G Gilt & Fixed Interest Income Fund and the £207 million M&G Index-Linked Bond Fund1, with immediate effect.

Miles Tym, supported by deputy Robert Burrows, specialises in actively managed fixed and index-linked Government bond mandates for M&G’s institutional clients, such as UK DB pension schemes. Together they currently manage over £6 billion2 of these mandates which are aligned to the aims and objectives of the two funds the team is taking on the management responsibilities for. There will be no change to either funds’ investment objective and policy.
