River Global Investors has been selected by Phoenix Group to run a UK smaller companies mandate for the retirement provider’s unit-linked range. The new RGI Institutional UK Listed Smaller Companies Fund was launched on 12th September and seeded with assets of £140 million.
The Fund is managed by Partner and Portfolio Manager, George Ensor who is supported by Portfolio Managers, Mayan Uthayakumar and Anna Pugh. The decision by Phoenix reflects the strength of the team’s investment philosophy and approach, which has driven the team’s strong long-term performance track record.
