Rothesay: “Making our own operations net zero for the next decade”

We have worked with Natural Capital Partners to both verify our direct emissions and purchase sufficient carbon credits, verified by Gold Standard and VERRA, to more than compensate for our historic direct emissions from 2020.

We have also entered into a long term partnership with Climeworks, a leading “direct air capture” company, that will mean that the amount of CO2 equal to Rothesay’s expected emissions for the entire decade beginning 2021 will be removed from the atmosphere and permanently mineralised deep underground thus leading to net-zero status for our business operations over the next 10 years.
