Schroders, a global leader in active asset management, today announces the appointment of Tom Wilson as Co-Manager of the Schroder Prime UK Equity Fund.
Tom joins Schroders with 18 years of investment experience and a consistent track record of active outperformance across multiple geographies and equity strategies. He was most recently a Fund Manager at Newton Investment Management, having previously held similar roles at Insight Investment and F&C Investments.
Tom will work alongside Sue Noffke, Head of UK Equities and James Goodman, Fund Manager, who currently co-manage the £768 million Schroder Prime UK Equity Fund and £6.3 billion of client assets in total. His appointment further enhances the team’s collective expertise, supporting their collaborative approach to actively managed investment decisions and portfolio construction.
In addition, Tom will join the UK Equities leadership team, helping to drive the continued growth of Schroders as one of the largest UK equity managers.
The UK Equities team, comprising 11 dedicated UK equity investors with a combined investment experience of more than 250 years, currently oversees £16.4 billion in assets under management as at 30 September 2025.
The team is further supported by the wider Equities division, drawing on the expertise of Schroders’ Pan-European Research team, other regional and thematic investors and the Sustainable Investment team. Schroders is also looking to expand support for the UK Prime team through the appointment of an Analyst.
