TPT Retirement Solutions, one of the UK’s leading providers of workplace pensions, has today announced the appointment of Andrew Sheavyn as Business Development Manager.
Reporting to Adam Tudor, Head of DC Distribution, Andrew will be responsible for delivering TPT’s new business growth, with a focus on its Defined Contribution (DC) and Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) offerings. As TPT undertakes an ambitious growth plan and builds out its full suite of consolidation options, the DC and CDC offerings will continue to form key parts of TPT’s strategy.
Andrew will play a key role in the implementation and growth of TPT’s new DC proposition, as well as the introduction of the UK’s first multi-employer CDC scheme. The new DC solution, launched earlier this year, is a first-of-its-kind, managed income-for-life proposition. It provides a simple, cost effective and easy-to-use alternative for members who do not want to make investment decisions, carry out complicated calculations or seek financial advice. The CDC scheme, which TPT announced an intention to launch earlier this year, aims to complete authorisation by the end of 2026. Andrew will play a major role in bringing this CDC proposition to the market.
Andrew brings with him more than a decade of valuable experience across the pensions industry. Previously to TPT, he spent seven years working at Smart Pensions – most recently as Business Development Director. Prior to this, he spent two years at Capita Employee Solutions as a consultant focused on DC distribution, having begun his career at Legal & General.
Commenting on the appointment, Adam Tudor, Head of DC Distribution, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Andrew to TPT. He brings with him a wealth of business development experience across the pensions industry. His background in DC distribution and consolidation solutions will be invaluable as we deliver on our ambitious growth strategy. With Andrew’s expertise, we are well placed to continue our innovation with our DC and CDC offerings, ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients and members.”
Andrew Sheavyn, Business Development Director at TPT, said:
“I’m delighted to be joining TPT at such an exciting time. The organisation is leading the way with innovative DC and CDC solutions, and market leading member experience. Joining an organisation passionate about delivering value to clients and most importantly their members and helping bring these propositions to life is something I’m very much looking forward to.”
