Robeco announces the appointments of Robbert Vonk as Head of Strategic Product & Business Development, and Ivo Frielink as Global Head of Sales & Marketing per 1 April 2026. Both held these roles on an interim basis before this appointment.
Robbert Vonk joined Robeco in 2007 and held several managerial roles in Risk Management, prior to being appointed COO and CFO at Canara Robeco Asset Management in Mumbai in 2016. He has held his current role as Head of Strategic Business Management since late 2019, and has been responsible for corporate strategy and M&A.
Ivo Frielink started his career with Robeco in 2005. Over the years, he has held several positions, including Regional Business Manager APAC. In 2022, he was appointed to Robeco’s Executive Committee as Head of Strategic Product & Business Development. In this role, he was closely involved in the development of the company’s new corporate strategy, which has been implemented since 1 January 2026.
