Aviva Investors makes senior appointment to Infrastructure Equity team

20 October 2021

Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva plc (‘Aviva’), announces the appointment of Charlotte Frost as a Director within its Infrastructure Equity Origination team.

Charlotte will work alongside Jolanta Touzard in developing and delivering the origination strategy for Aviva Investors’ recently launched Climate Transition Real Assets Fund. She will report to Darryl Murphy, Managing Director, Infrastructure.

Charlotte joins Aviva Investors from Cubico Sustainable Investments, a renewable energy investment platform, where she worked in the EMEA Origination and Execution team, specialising in onshore wind, solar PV and concentrated solar power (CSP) investments throughout Europe. During this time, she oversaw transactions for more than EUR 1bn enterprise value, including most recently the acquisition of Grupo T-Solar, a solar PV and CSP platform with more than 270 MW operational assets across Spain and Italy, plus a significant solar PV development pipeline. Prior to Cubico, Charlotte worked within the Infrastructure team at Foresight Group having started her career in the Project Finance team at RBS.

Darryl Murphy, Managing Director, Infrastructure, at Aviva Investors, said:

We are very pleased to welcome Charlotte to the team and see her appointment as an important step in the growth strategy for our Infrastructure business, as we start to make investments on behalf of the recently launched Climate Transition Real Assets Fund. Charlotte’s experience focusing on the European renewables sector will be invaluable as part of that process, as we seek out assets which can support, and benefit from, the transition to a low-carbon economy and add long-term value to our clients’ portfolios.”
