LifeSight appoints Helen Jones to its Board of Trustees

LifeSight, Willis Towers Watson’s UK DC master trust, has today announced the appointment of Helen Jones as its new trustee. Helen replaces Russell Picot, who has recently stepped down from the Trustee Board.

In addition to her Trustee Board duties, Helen will Chair the Audit and Risk Sub-Committee.

Helen is currently SVP Head of Audit and Assurance with GlaxoSmithKline and has over 30 years’ experience working as a finance and risk management professional within industry and the advisory profession.

Helen was a trustee of the GSK Pension Fund for seven years, in addition to sitting on the Treasury Committee and Pension Committee for GSK. She was also Trustee and Chairman of the Reuters Defined Contribution Scheme for five years. In addition, from September 2015 to December 2020 Helen was a non-executive member of the Financial Reporting Council’s Conduct Committee.

LifeSight has a five-person trustee board, responsible for the oversight and delivery of its services to members, all of whom are independent of Willis Towers Watson with a diversity of skillset that has been recognised for its strength. With in excess of 230,000 members, LifeSight manages £9.5bn of Assets under Management (AuM).
