Mercer appoints Niall Alexander as Senior DC Investment Consultant

Mercer has announced the appointment of Niall Alexander in the UK as a Senior Defined Contribution (DC) Investment Consultant. In his new role, Mr Alexander will advise clients on strategic investment issues and will be involved in developing intellectual capital, with a focus on ensuring DC members’ needs are being met across the country.

Mr Alexander joins Mercer from River and Mercantile Solutions where he served as Head of Client Business Development. Prior to that, he was Head of DC advising a range of schemes across the UK and internationally, with an emphasis on helping DC schemes and master trusts understand their specific investment and governance needs. Mr Alexander began his career with Willis in Dublin where he helped establish their investment consulting business providing advice for a range of DC and DB pension plans.
