Border to Coast Pension Partnership publishes on its website:

“Border to Coast Pensions Partnership (“Border to Coast”), one of the largest public sector pension pools in the UK, has appointed two new members to its Board – Kate Guthrie and Councillor Anne Walsh.

Chris Hitchen, Chair of Border to Coast, said: “Kate Guthrie and Anne Walsh each bring a huge wealth of insight and experience as we continue to develop our business. Kate is a highly experienced HR Director with strong financial services experience, whilst Anne’s position as a local councillor and the Vice Chair of the Tyne and Wear Pension Fund will extend our links with and understanding of Border to Coast’s client base.”

Kate replaces Enid Rowland as Chair of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee, who steps down having served three years on the Board. Cllr Anne Walsh replaces Cllr Jeff Watson of Northumberland as a Partner Fund nominee on the Board. Enid and Jeff retire from the Board with the grateful thanks of their colleagues for helping Border to Coast to complete successfully the first phase of its development.

Border to Coast believes in the benefits of diversity of thought and is a member of the 30% Club’s Investor Group. Whilst the gender balance on the Board will fluctuate, after these changes the Board consists of five women and three men.
