Pension fund Dierenartsen has appointed Northern Trust to manage a new listed real estate fund: Northern Trust Developed Real Estate Climate Index Fund. This represents a new relationship with Northern Trust. The appointment supports the fund’s broader strategy to diversify its investments and potentially enhance returns. This has been published by the pension fund in their Actuarial and Business Technical Memorandum (Actuariële en bedrijfstechnische nota 2025-03), page 86.
A second announcement is the implementation of a new equity fund by BlackRock. It concerns a fund with CO2 reduction based on the principles of the Paris Aligned Climate Benchmark. The implementation will take place in 2025. The pension fund announced this in the Socially Responsible Investment Policy (Beleid Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Belegging 2024-11), page 14.

Het fonds heeft een deelnemersbestand met in 2023 4.651 actieve bijdragers en 2.083 pensioengerechtigden. De beleggingen voor risico pensioenfonds hadden in Q4 2024 een rendement van 2%.
Eind Q4 2024 had het fonds een beleidsdekkingsgraad van 113.8% terwijl de vereiste dekkingsgraad op dat moment 116.1% bedroeg. De fiduciair manager van het fonds is Achmea IM en de pensioenadministratie wordt uitgevoerd door Achmea Pensioenservices.
