In het derde kwartaal van 2017 zag NN Group haar nettowinst stijgen van €436 naar €734 miljoen. Dit komt met name door de verkoop van een grote hoeveelheid staatsleningen. De solvabiliteit van het bedrijf nam ook toe, van 196 naar 204 procent.
De verzekeraar zag haar operationeel resultaat toenemen van €319 miljoen naar €431 miljoen. Deze stijging komt mede door een contributie van Delta Lloyd á €51 miljoen. Op het Nederlandse schade- en inkomensbedrijf werd echter geen winst geboekt. De resultaten van andere activiteiten zagen wel verbetering.
