Prologis appoints Björn Thiemann regional head of northern Europe and Jessica Pilkes as country manager Benelux

Björn Thiemann is senior vice president, regional head Northern Europe at Prologis, a role he assumed on January 1, 2023. Previously responsible for Prologis’ activities in Germany as country manager, he now leads all operations and development activities in Northern Europe, which includes Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries. He works closely with the local teams, especially in the area of capital deployment, to drive growth. At the same time, he oversees business in Germany.
Jessica Pilkes, as vice president, country manager Benelux, is responsible for business in Belgium and the Netherlands. She was appointed to the position on January 1. Before then, she was vice president, real estate and customer experience lead Europe at Prologis, where she led the customer experience teams. She was also active in asset management, an ideal foundation for her new role for which she reports to Thiemann.

Thiemann joined Prologis in July 2020. He was previously head of fund management Europe/global at Union Investment Real Estate in Hamburg for seven years, where he was responsible for the management and oversight of the open-ended UniImmo: Europa and UniImmo: Global real estate funds, with a total asset value of approximately 17.5 billion euros. Prior to that, he held the position of head of fund management Europe at Deka Immobilien Investment in Frankfurt for five years. Thiemann holds a degree in business administration and a degree in real estate economics.
Pilkes has worked for Prologis since 2010 as property manager Benelux; director, head of property management Benelux; and other positions.
