AkademikerPension joins in lawsuit against VW

AkademikerPension publishes: “Patience has run out, which is why we are now taking Volkswagen to court. We are doing this because, after several years of dialogue, the company flatly rejected the shareholder proposal on transparency about climate lobbying, which we put forward together with the Church of England Pensions Board and the Seventh AP Fund for a vote at the company’s general meeting in 2022.

Specifically, we want the management at VW to present information about the company’s lobbying efforts and how this aligns with the company’s climate efforts. Something that we, together with the investor group, have been trying to get the company to present for years.”
