9 June 2023

CBRE publishes on its website:

CBRE Investment Management Germany has promoted Sebastian Ehrhardt, Head of Transactions Germany, to Managing Director. He joins the German management team with Country Head Germany Marius Schöner, Managing Director Client Solutions Chris Wood and Chief Financial Officer Juan Miguel Hidalgo Rodriguez. The expansion of the team reflects the global investment manager’s business growth in Germany.

Sebastian has been working in the property industry for close to 19 years, with the last seven at CBRE Investment Management. His main responsibilities have included acquisitions as well as the project and asset management of complex, mixed-use value-add assets and developments, and is now Head of Transactions for the entire German-speaking region.

Marius Schöner, Country Head of Germany at CBRE Investment Management, says: “As an investment and value-add expert, Sebastian is a perfect fit to complement our German management board. He has built a broad industry network and as Head of Transactions materially contributed to our business growth in Germany over the past years. We are looking forward to continuing our trajectory in Europe’s largest economy together with Sebastian as part of the management team.”

Since 2019, CBRE Investment Management’s German portfolio grew by more than €2.5 billion, including €800 million of value-add investments and €1 billion in off-market deals. The most recent acquisition is a €560 million residential portfolio from Vonovia.
