Dalriada Trustees Limited (Dalriada), one of the UK’s largest providers of independent professional trustee services to pension schemes, today announces the appointment of Stephen Soper as Managing Director for Business Delivery and Operations at Dalriada effective from 1 February.
Stephen is a highly experienced pensions professional, whose most recent role was at PwC as a Partner in the Pensions team.
Before joining PwC, he spent six years at the Pensions Regulator working in several roles including Executive Director of Defined Benefit and concluding with a period as interim Chief Executive. Prior to this, Stephen held various executive positions at RBS, Zurich Financial Services and Aon.
Working alongside the other MDs on the Dalriada Executive Team (Adrian Kennett, Charles Ward and Shehzad Ahmad,) Stephen will be responsible for business operations, the development of Dalriada’s operating model, key strategic projects and the effectiveness of change management. His role will include developing and implementing Dalriada’s ongoing strategy and commercial proposition to drive the continued growth of the company’s key business areas, and support its clients across its UK-wide office network in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and London.
Dalriada has grown significantly in the past 20 years but in particular over the last decade and is firmly established as one of the leading professional trustee businesses in the UK.
