Daniel Hunziker, Head of Institutional Clients and member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. will take over the leadership of the corporate clients business with immediate effect in addition to his current role. Andreas Gerber, Head of Corporate Banking and member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd., is leaving Credit Suisse and will take a break for the time being.
Daniel Hunziker has been at Credit Suisse since 2002. He previously held roles including Head of Region Zurich and Head of Strategy in the former Swiss Universal Bank division, before taking over the management of the Institutional Clients business in 2020 and thus becoming a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse (Switzerland) Ltd. In addition, Daniel Hunziker has been President of the Zurich Banking Association since 2019.
Andreas Gerber has worked at Credit Suisse and Schweizerische Volksbank for 34 years. He has been in charge of the corporate clients business since 2020 and prior to that was responsible for the SME business in Region Zurich and Region Mittelland, among other roles.
