Fisch Asset Management announces the appointment of Ivan Nikolov, an experienced convertible bond specialist, as Co-Head Convertible Bonds, effective from 1 January 2024.
Ivan Nikolov will lead Fisch Asset Management’s convertible bond team together with Thomas Fischli Rutz. The team consists of five experienced portfolio managers, managing five strategies with a total volume of around CHF 2.5 billion across the entire convertible bond risk spectrum.
Nikolov has had a very successful career as a senior portfolio manager at NN Investment Partners in London, where he co-managed convertible bond portfolios totalling more than USD 2 billion under management. Prior to that, he spent four years as a convertible bond portfolio manager at Aberdeen Asset Management. Other career milestones include positions as a convertible bond trader at a hedge fund and at a securities broker. Nikolov graduated from Oxford University with a MA, BA in Economics and Management. He is a CFA charterholder.
