Martin Scholl strengthens the board of directors of Belvédère asset management

Belvédère Asset Management AG, a subsidiary of the independent asset management group Fundamenta Group, is expanding its board of directors with the addition of Martin Scholl, former CEO of Zürcher Kantonalbank. With the election, the Board of Directors is strengthening its competencies in the area of ​​wealth management and asset management and is thus setting a strong example for the further strategic development of the company.

Martin Scholl can look back on more than 40 years of exceptionally successful career in the financial sector. In the last 15 years he has written an impressive success story as CEO of Zürcher Kantonalbank. Under his leadership, among other things, the expansion of asset management was successfully advanced and the purchase and integration of Swisscanto went smoothly. Under the leadership of Martin Scholl, Zürcher Kantonalbank consistently expanded its market position and is now one of the five systemically important banks in Switzerland.

David Garcia and Urs Gauch are also elected to the Board of Directors. At the Annual General Meeting in May, Urs Gauch will take over as Chairman of Belvédère Asset Management AG from Florian Marxer, who will join the Board of Directors of Fundamenta Group Holding AG from this point in time.
