Apo Asset Management GmbH (apoAsset) is strengthening its healthcare fund team on April 1, 2024 with Maxim Dimitruk as Investment Analyst Healthcare. The 33-year-old comes from Bethmann Bank, where he worked as a fund manager and analyst.
Mr. Dimitruk studied in Vienna, Frankfurt, London and at the Columbia Business School in New York. After graduating with an M.Sc. in international business administration, he initially worked as a stock analyst, then as an investment analyst and portfolio manager for a medium-sized asset manager.
This was followed by positions in corporate banking, particularly in the technology and real estate sectors, at the major Dutch bank ABN AMRO. Most recently, he was fund manager for global strategies at Bethmann Bank. In addition to his broad expertise in fund management and company analysis, he also has experience as a startup founder.
Dr. Heiko Opfer, Managing Director of apoAsset, says: “We are very pleased about the addition of Maxim Dimitruk. The globally growing healthcare market is facing major changes, also due to the increasingly important role of technology companies. With our healthcare team, we want to further expand the strengths of our healthcare funds in this field.”
