Bantleon further strengthens fundamental equities team

15 November 2021

The asset manager Bantleon has expanded its portfolio management team for infrastructure equities by hiring Manuel Schulz as portfolio manager. He will strengthen the team analysis of global infrastructure companies and will be responsible for the mutual fund Bantleon Select Infrastructure as co-portfolio manager. He brings several years of experience in private equity and investment banking.

With Manuel Schulz, we have been able to recruit a new colleague who has excellent know-how in the fundamental analysis and valuation of companies,« explains Sebastian Finke, Head of Equity Portfolio Management. »We are facing a challenging equity market environment, in which the selection of high-quality companies with structural tailwinds has the greatest value. Listed infrastructure companies offer particularly attractive characteristics and promising return potential due to hard-to-replace business models, stable cash flows and the enormous investments that will flow into this sector over the years to come.
