AP Pension will in future build with CO2-reduced cement

16 September 2021

AP Pension’s subsidiary, AP Ejendomme, which is one of Denmark’s largest private builders, wants to be at the forefront of the transition to more sustainable construction. Therefore, AP Ejendomme is now aiming for a conversion to the CO2-reduced cement FutureCEM, produced by Aalborg Portland, in all future buildings.

Cement, as the main component of concrete, is an indispensable material in any construction. But when AP Pension’s subsidiary, AP Ejendomme, starts its construction in the future, the CO 2 -reduced cement FutureCEM, produced by Aalborg Portland, will be a key material in the construction process.

AP Ejendomme aims for a conversion to the CO 2 -reduced cement type in all its buildings, which with up to 30 percent lower CO 2 footprint will contribute to the pension company’s climate ambitions, explains CEO of AP Ejendomme, Peter Olsson.
