At the last board meeting, Þorkell Heiðarsson was elected chairman of the board and Auður Kjartansdóttir as deputy chairman of the board. Is it in accordance with the fund’s bylaws, but the board elects a chairman from among its own group for two years at a time, while the representatives of employers and trade unions hold the chairmanship on a rotating basis, for two years at a time.
