Niels Dengsø Jensen announced yesterday that he is stepping down as chairman of DLG and thus also as DLG’s representative on the AP Pension board. After 12 years at the helm, Niels Dengsø Jensen thus passed on the baton as chairman at today’s general meeting.
Niels Dengsø Jensen was elected to AP Pension’s board of directors in 2013 and has played an important role in the development of the company. He has left a noticeable mark on AP Pension over time.
Following today’s general meeting, the board of directors has constituted itself. Martin Nørholm Baltser, who is currently part of AP Pension’s board of directors, will take over as chairman of the board. Lasse Nyby will continue as deputy chairman.
Martin Nørholm Baltser is CEO of Middelfart Sparekasse, and has been part of AP Pension’s board of directors since 2022.
– I am pleased with the trust the board of directors has shown in me. I look forward to taking on the role as chairman of AP Pension and continuing the good work that Niels has led. I am convinced that together with the entire board of directors I can further strengthen the strategic development of AP Pension for the benefit of the customers, says Martin Nørholm Baltser.
AP Pension thanks Niels for his many years of service and wishes him all the best in the future. At the same time, we welcome Martin as the new chairman and look forward to continued good cooperation in the new role.
