The job as a DM representative is a full-time position with a capital F.
Therefore, Janne Gleerup has chosen to step down from the board of AkademikerPension, where she was chairwoman until recently.
“I am of course sad to leave the board, but at the same time I am also relieved, as the board work at AkademikerPension is so important that it would in no way be fair to only sit there at half strength,” says Janne Gleerup, who as a DM-appointed member managed to sit on the board for six years, the last three of which as chairwoman.
For the CEO of AkademikerPension, Jens Munch Holst, this means saying goodbye to a highly competent capacity:
“As a board member and not least as chairwoman, Janne has been at the forefront of a wide range of innovations at AkademikerPension. Here I am thinking in particular of our new core system, AlfaPension, and our responsible health scheme. And at the same time, she has been responsible for a line so that the cooperation between the board and the administration has worked extremely well.”
Instead of Janne Gleerup, DM has appointed Tommy Dalegaard Madsen as a new member of AkademikerPension’s board of directors. This means that the board and its constitution are in place, as Tobias Bornakke and Henrik Priergaard were elected as new chairman and deputy chairman respectively on 23 January. In addition, Per Clausen chose to step down as of 1/1 2025, and he has been replaced by Maja Holm.
54-year-old Tommy Dalegaard Madsen sits on the Board of Directors of the Danish Football Association and on the Executive Committee of the Danish Football Association. He is a Cand.Scient.Soc and an associate professor in the pedagogical education program at Copenhagen University College.
“I look forward to getting to know Tommy and to the future collaboration with him on the board,” concludes Jens Munch Holst.
