After a total of approximately 35 years at Alecta, Katarina Thorslund, Head of Customer and Deputy CEO at Alecta, will retire in March 2025. Recruitment of replacements has begun.
During her years at Alecta, Katarina Thorslund has, among other things, been chief actuary and finance manager, before she became Head of the Customer department in 2016. Since 2011 she has also been vice president of Alecta and since December 2023 also chairman of the board of Alecta Fastigheter AB.
– Katarina has an incredibly broad and deep knowledge of Alecta’s operations, the pension system and the world of parties. Her long experience has been very important for Alecta and for me as the new CEO during a challenging period. In addition to all her competence, she has stood for continuity and stability in a way that has been invaluable. She will be missed by me and many others, but at the same time I have great respect for her choosing to retire and enjoy that stage in life, says Peder Hasslev, CEO of Alecta.
