In this role, Ben will be responsible for leading client solutions for the UK Defined Contribution (DC) market, including building bespoke solutions utilising the full suite of CBRE IM strategies, across private and listed real estate and infrastructure.
Based in CBRE IM’s London office, Ben will report to Chris Wood, EMEA Head of Client Solutions.

His investment and implementation track record is exceptional, and we are confident he will help design and deliver leading-edge solutions for DC investors.”
With over 15 years of industry experience, Ben joins CBRE IM from Carne Group, where he was Business Development Director and the lead for the UK Defined Contribution channel. Prior to that, he served as Head of Institutional Business & Consultant Relationships at Investors Mutual in Sydney, Australia for close to eight years.
Commenting on his appointment, Ben said, “I am excited to be joining CBRE IM given the firm’s commitment to providing innovative real assets investment solutions. The UK Defined Contribution market continues to evolve at a rapid rate, including through the increasing use of private market strategies. I am looking forward to working with our clients and prospects on developing bespoke real asset solutions for their members.”
Ben is a CFA charterholder and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Psychology from the Australian National University.
The appointment of Ben follows the recent addition of Alexandra Hayate as Senior Director to the Client Solutions team. The global team comprises 85 professionals operating across EMEA, North America, and APAC.
