Federated Hermes promotes Vivek Bhutoria to Co-Portfolio Manager on Global Emerging Markets Portfolio

The international business of Federated Hermes has announced that Vivek Bhutoria, senior analyst, will be promoted to co-portfolio manager on the Federated Hermes Global Emerging Markets Equity Fund. Vivek will work alongside Kunjal Gala, Lead Portfolio Manager, and his promotion will come into effect on 4th January 2022.

Vivek has 14’ years’ experience working in emerging markets equity and has been a key contributor to the success of the firm’s emerging markets platform since joining in 2019. He and Kunjal have an excellent working relationship and champion the philosophy and approach of the team. This includes top-down and bottom-up market and sector insights, the integration of ESG throughout the process and the delivery of high active share and concentrated portfolios.

Kunjal and Vivek will continue to be supported by a portfolio management team which has combined emerging markets’ investment experience of over 150 years.
