Janus Henderson appoints Victoria Mio as Portfolio Manager and Head of Greater China Equities

Janus Henderson is today announcing the appointment of Victoria Mio who will join the firm as Portfolio Manager and Head of Greater China Equities. Victoria, who assumed the role on 13 February 2024, will be based in Singapore and report to Lucas Klein, Head of EMEA & APAC Equities.

In her new role at Janus Henderson, Victoria will play a pivotal role in managing client portfolios and providing invaluable expertise on China’s dynamic markets.

Victoria brings more than two decades of expertise in Chinese equities investment. She was at Robeco for 14 years where she last served as Chief Investment Officer China and co-Head of Asia Pacific Equities. During her tenure at Robeco she managed multiple mutual funds and institutional mandates in China offshore and A shares, earning strong recognition and accolades for achieving the best performance in the China equity fund category at various industry awards. Throughout her career Victoria has held various senior positions including at Fidelity International where she served as Head of Equity Research, APAC, leading their equity research team in Asia Pacific for three years. She holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Macau.
