“Hermes Investment Management, the £36 billion manager, has announced the expansion of its global fixed income team, with the appointment of Carina Spitzkopf as a Director for Private Debt. Carina will be based in London and work across the private debt platform. The fixed income team, which covers the liquid credit, private debt and real estate debt markets, is now 27 members strong.
In her new role, Carina will help to develop the Hermes business globally within the private debt market, providing in-depth company analysis, industry due diligence reports and comprehensive financial modelling. Before joining Hermes, Carina was a Director for UBS, where she covered leverage finance risk and portfolio management of the firm’s leveraged loan book in EMEA. Prior to this, Carina worked across leveraged finance, credit and risk roles at Barclays, Commerzbank and Dresdner, where she developed strong experience in both execution and structuring deals.”
