Kames Capital bolsters fixed income team with two further hires

“Kames Capital has continued to bolster its fixed income team with the appointment of two investment specialists. The move sees Jill Shaw and Thomas Dickson join the Edinburgh based team headed by Adrian Hull.

Shaw, who joins the business as a senior investment specialist, has nearly 25 years financial services experience of which 20 years has been in asset management, including a previous spell at Kames Capital (then Aegon Asset Management) from 1999 to 2006. She has held a number of senior roles in the industry, most recently as head of strategic engagement, Asia Pacific at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Her previous roles at Standard Life Investments also include institutional sales director, Australasia and investment director, Europe

Dickson has nine years asset management experience and joins Kames as an investment specialist, having previously held a similar role at ASI specialising in promoting its fixed income product range. Prior to this he was a wholesale investment technical analyst at SLI.

Shaw and Dickson will be part of Kames four-strong fixed income specialist team, working alongside the fund managers to promote and raise awareness of its fixed income strategies and supporting the sales teams in their efforts.
