Lombard Odier Investment Managers (LOIM) today announces the appointment of David Whitehair to the UK institutional sales team. David’s appointment forms part of the firm’s strategic growth ambitions within the UK Defined Contribution (DC) market. David will also be leading LOIM’s strategy in partnering with With-Profits insurance clients.
The UK DC investment market has evolved rapidly in recent years, with an increasing focus on sustainable and alternative investment strategies. LOIM has led innovation in these areas by partnering with leading asset owners, including Nest and Cushon, to deliver sustainable strategies in multiple asset classes.
Based in London, David has 19 years of financial industry experience. Most recently, he was a Director in the UK Client Group at Janus Henderson Investors, where he was responsible for the strategic development and growth of the UK DC business. Prior to this David held senior DC focused roles at Franklin Templeton and Fidelity International.
David reports to Ritesh Bamania, Head of UK Institutional Sales and Global Consultant Relations at LOIM.
