Redington appoints new chief financial director

31 August 2023

Redington has announced the appointment of Gavin Howard as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director to its Board.

With more than 30 years’ experience in financial services, Gavin has been CFO at both IFG Group and Nucleus Financial, as well as having held senior executive positions at firms including Partnership Assurance and Octopus Lifestyle.

Gavin joins the business on 1 September, where he will also be a member of the leadership team alongside Sylvia Pozezanac (CEO), Zoe Taylor (Deputy CEO) and Katherine FitzGerald (Chief People Officer).

Commenting on the appointment, Redington CEO Sylvia Pozezanac said: “I am so pleased to welcome Gavin to Redington. His years of experience as a CFO and strong track record in business strategy make him the perfect addition to the Redington Leadership Team and Board.

“We are proud to attract outstanding talent like Gavin across the organisation as we continue our journey as an industry leader.”

Gavin Howard commented: “Redington has built up a strong reputation as a purpose-driven business that puts its clients’ and employees’ interests front and centre. Having stepped away from corporate life earlier this year, the opportunity to join Sylvia and the rest of the Redington team on their journey was too good to pass up.

“I look forward to working alongside the existing Leadership Team and Board and helping deliver on the firm’s ambitious plans.”
