Banque Cantonale de Genève: Nicole Crettenand appointed Head of Institutional Investors

The general management of the Banque cantonale de Genève has decided to appoint Nicole Crettenand as head of the Institutional Investors department. She will manage the active structure within the Asset Management division and will be responsible for developing relationships with pension institutions present throughout Switzerland.

Originally from the canton of Aargau, Nicole Crettenand benefits from a wealth of professional experience acquired with renowned financial institutions. She held various positions within Lombard Odier, Zurich Invest AG and UBS, where she was each time in charge of institutional clients and where she managed to significantly increase the share of clients from German-speaking Switzerland. She holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Finance from the University of Zurich and a diploma from the Hochschule für Wirtschaft Zürich (HWZ).

Already well established among provident institutions in Geneva, the Institutional Investors department can highlight its strengths which are based on the Synchrony investment fund brand, as well as the capacity to develop tailor-made active or index mandates, and on the subsidiary Loyal Finance AG, based in Zurich and specialized in bond management. Nicole Crettenand’s mission will be to develop relationships with institutional investors in German-speaking Switzerland, which constitute 80% of the national market.
