Exelerating adds Austria as a new region to its application

Exelerating is pleased to announce that Austria has been added to the database. The Austrian institutional pension market is a relatively small but growing market in terms of invested assets and is part of the well-known DACH region. With the addition of Austria, all three DACH regions, after Germany and Switzerland (january 2023) have been included in the Exelerating database.

Reinoud van den Broek, founder of exelerating, says: ‘With the inclusion of the Austrian market, the DACH region is complete. In particular, the coherence between the German-speaking markets (majority of Swiss speak German) makes Austria a valuable addition.’

The Austrian institutional pension market consists of 11 pension funds with a total of 25 billion euros of invested assets. Characteristic of many Austrian pension funds is that they have organized their own administration. These pension funds also make limited use of external investment advisors or fiduciary managers.
