AkademikerPension pledges to invests 100 million dollars in fund managed by Dutch manager ILX

AkademikerPension publishes on its website:

There is an economic injection of billions on the way to a large number of developing countries. Specifically, we have pledged to invest 100 million dollars in a new fund that specializes in providing loans to companies and projects in developing countries that help meet the UN’s global goals.

The fund is managed by the Dutch manager ILX, and the fund’s work consists of investing together with a number of the international development banks with a view to co-financing some of their projects.

ILX selects the projects in question so that they both meet the foundation’s objective of promoting the UN’s global goals, and at the same time provide a good return. These can be projects within renewable energy, sustainable production or food safety, for example.

“With this investment, we can tick off both returns and responsibility. A large number of developing countries get access to capital, while our members get a stable return”, says our investment director, Anders Schelde.

In total, investors have pledged DKK 11.5 billion in ILX.
