Jarkko Heikkilä as Elo’s director of risk management, Martti Luoma as head of the compliance function

Jarkko Heikkilä (KTM) has been appointed Chief Risk Officer and member of the management team of the employment pension company Elo as of January 1, 2024. He is responsible for Elo’s comprehensive risk management and thus supports the implementation of Elo’s strategy and the continuity of operations. Previously, Jarkko Heikkilä was the head of risk management at Elo.

Martti Luoma (VT, OTM) has been appointed as Head of Compliance and supervisor of Elo’s compliance function. In his position, he reports to Risk Management Director Jarkko Heikkilä.

– When we started looking for a head of the compliance function, we were primarily looking for an experienced person who has deep experience in organizing compliance in the financial sector and who could also bring us fresh insights. Martti has versatile and long experience in the compliance functions of several companies in the financial sector and their management, most recently in the OP group. I am happy to welcome Martin to Elo and to further develop Elo’s compliance function, says Jarkko Heikkilä.
