Chairman of the board of P+, Kim Duus, joined the board of PFA on 5 October with a view to becoming chairman of the pension company in March. Djøf and IDA are therefore in the process of finding the right candidate who can be nominated for the chairmanship of P+.
P+, the Pension Fund for Academics must have a new chairman. On 5 October, Kim Duus joined the board of PFA, where he has been appointed as deputy chairman with a view to taking over the chairmanship at the next ordinary general meeting in March 2024. This means that Kim Duus will therefore not stand again as chairman of P+, and that P+ must therefore have a new chairman of the board at the next ordinary general meeting of the pension fund, which will take place on 3 April 2024.
According to the articles of association of P+, the election of the chairman takes place after a recommendation from the board on the basis of a joint recommendation from the boards of Djøf and IDA. The election must be approved by the pension fund’s members at the general meeting.
Djøf and IDA are now in the process of finding a candidate with the right qualifications to build on the strong foundation the board has established since engineers, economists and lawyers were brought together in the academic community P+.
Until the general meeting next year, Kim Duus will continue in the role of chairman of P+.
