Sunna Jóhannsdóttir new to the board of LV

1 February 2023

Sunna Jóhannsdóttir has taken a seat on the board of LV after Guðrún Johnsen left the fund’s board at the same time as her appointment as an advisor to the Danish central bank’s board of directors.

Sunna joined the board as a substitute after the LV 2022 annual meeting, nominated by VR. She is a trained business analyst, Cand. Oecon from the University of Iceland in addition to having completed a diploma in international relations from the same school. Sunna has been working as a finance project manager at the Icelandic Opera since 2019, but previously had her own business in accounting and related consulting. She has also worked in accounting and auditing at PwC in Iceland and Norway and worked as a media manager.

Sunna is a member of the Reykjavík city’s audit committee, appointed by Orkuveitun’s board (since 2014) and has been on the board of the Parkinson’s Association in Iceland since 2020.

We thank Guðrúna for a very good and successful collaboration and wish her good luck in her new projects.

We also welcome Sunna to the board and expect a lot from her work for the benefit of fund members.
