LGPS Central Limited’s Emerging Markets Fund Goes Live

LGPS Central publishes on its website:

“We’re pleased to announce our Emerging Markets Equity Active Multi-Manager Fund went live on Friday, 19 July.

Three fund managers have been selected to manage the Fund; BMO Global Asset Management, UBS Asset Management Limited and Vontobel Asset Management, with each receiving a third of the total mandate.

Colin Pratt, Investment Director, Manager of Managers at LGPS Central Limited, said: “We’re thrilled that our Emerging Markets Fund is now up and running. A lot of hard work has gone into making sure this Fund will serve the needs of our Partner Funds, and we truly believe it will meet their long-term objectives.”

LGPS Central Limited manages the pooled assets of nine Midlands-based local government pension schemes: Cheshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands Pension Fund and the West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority. The nine funds have approximately £45bn of investment assets collectively.”
