Savills Investment Management (“Savills IM”), the international real estate manager, today announces the appointment of Michael Neal to the role of Global Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Equity Investment. Michael assumes his new role with effect from today. He has joined the company’s Global Executive Committee and reports to Alex Jeffrey, Chief Executive. This appointment follows the departure of Andrew Allen from Savills IM.
Michael joins Savills IM with an extensive track record across all real estate markets and sectors in Europe and APAC. Previously, Michael has held senior roles at Nuveen, a TIAA company, most recently as CIO of EMEA and Head of Fund Management.
Michael’s appointment will strengthen Savills IM’s senior investment team at a time of significant opportunity across the sector. This appointment is part of Savills IM’s ongoing commitment to continuously strengthening its leadership team to deliver value to investors and capitalise on emerging opportunities in the market.
