pka publishes on its website:
IIP Denmark (IIP) has found its future Managing Partner. The asset manager, which invests directly in companies through capital funds on behalf of PKA, will in future be led by Maria Hjorth.
Maria Hjorth comes to IIP Denmark with over 20 years of experience from the financial sector. Most recently, she has worked as a professional board member, including a seat on the boards of Topdanmark, Maj Invest and Trifork.
She has previously headed the Danish securities center VP Securities and the Danish branch of the international consultancy Mercer.
“Maria’s experience and network give her exactly the right skills to continue IIP’s positive development together with the other partners. IIP has consistently delivered very good returns to the members of PKA. We must continue to build on that foundation, and I am glad that Maria has agreed to be at the helm,” says investment director at PKA Michael Nellemann Pedersen.
Maria Hjorth herself says that she is looking forward to joining the team in IIP Denmark.
“IIP has created a strong platform for investments in American and European capital funds. Together with the highly experienced and competent team at IIP, I look forward to taking the next natural steps in IIP’s development. With the good results that have already been created in the funds, the ambition is to maintain the competitive returns at the same time that we scale the platform and attract more new investors,” says Maria Hjorth.
Maria Hjorth joins IIP Denmark on 15 June. Here she replaces Anette Eberhard, who announced earlier this year that she would step down after almost six years at the head of the asset manager.
You will be invited to a reception, where it will be possible for employees and business partners to say goodbye to Anette Eberhard and welcome Maria Hjorth.
